Windsurfing Tourmaline, San Diego 3-6-15

Posted on March 7th, by San Diego Windsurfing Association in Newsletters, SDWA News, Sessions. No Comments

Decent conditions were bestowed on a few lucky sailors at Tourmaline yesterday the 6th of March.  Winds while everyone was rigging was upwards of 20mph due to a nice Santa Ana breeze coming around Mount Soledad and compressing itself as it came around the point and got sucked into Mission Bay.  Conditions by the time everyone hit the water were around 13-16mph with waves that were 2-3ft in size and relatively soft in shape.  Luckily enough Chuck Mo. was there to document our experience so big thanks for taking his time to take the video and edit it all together!!

Video Below:
Featured Sailors in order of appearance: Andrew C (Ezzy Purple, Blue, wearing helmet), Chuck Ma. (Solid Blue Maui Sails Superfreak), and Dan S (Ezzy Blue and Black with 2 pieces of duct tape on the top)

Also another video taken and editted by Chuck Mo. on his recent trip to Maui.
